The higher the molecular weight, the greater the degree of molecular chain entanglement, and the higher the strength of the fibers after stretching. Generally, raw materials with a melt index ranging from 5 to 40 are selected. In the drawing process, the drawing ratio and speed need to be reasonably matched. An excessively high drawing ratio will increase the brittleness of the fibers, while an excessively low ratio will not be able to fully enhance the strength. Usually, it is controlled within the range of 6 to 8 times.
