On May 9th, the technical symposium of the High-Performance Carbon Fiber Equipment and Composite Materials Manufacturing Industry Innovation Center was grandly held in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, marking a crucial step forward for China in the collaborative innovation of the entire carbon fiber industry chain.
This symposium was led by Seiko Technology and brought together authoritative experts such as Academician Chen Wenxing and Academician Li Hejun (online) of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Foreign Academician Zhang Jiujun, and Professor Xu Lianghua from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, as well as over 40 representatives from leading universities including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, and Harbin Institute of Technology, and leading enterprises in the industrial chain. The meeting delved deeply into core issues such as the creation plan, technical routes, and operation models of the National Manufacturing Innovation Center, and reached a strategic consensus.
The meeting made it clear that the innovation center will focus on six major directions, building a full-chain collaborative research platform covering raw silk, carbonization, equipment manufacturing to product application, aiming to break through the "bottleneck" technologies and ensure the independent control of the industrial chain.
